Every Moment Tells a Story

I capture the moments that make sports and events unforgettable: the split-second save, the finish-line grin, the sideline celebration, the toast at the end of the night.

I came to photography from an unusual place, a PhD in biomedical science and years of research work. That training taught me to watch closely, anticipate the moment before it happens, and get the shot right the first time, skills that matter just as much on a sideline as they do at a tournament awards dinner or a company gathering.

I shoot across Northern Virginia, covering everything from kids' first rec games to competitive club and varsity play, plus the banquets, fundraisers, and community and corporate events that go with them.

Based in Reston, VA, I spend my time chasing the perfect light and the perfect moment, on sports fields and in packed event halls across the DC Metro Area. Whether it's a game-winning play or a room full of laughter, I'm there to catch it before it's gone. Photography isn't just my job, it's how I see the world.

Sports and events are two of the few places real, unscripted emotion happens in public. I'm here to catch it, so you can be in the moment, not behind a camera.

If you're looking for a photographer who treats your event like it matters, because it does, let's talk.
